In a somewhat belated Greek Revival style, the two-and-a-half-story, three-bay house has a broad front porch with four square columns. The double entrance doors are framed by glass sidelights and a transom. The house is raised about three feet above the ground, with brick foundation walls. The interior is furnished with nineteenth-century furnishings belonging to the second owner, Judge Ben Powell.
