Logan City Hall (C&O Railway Station)

This former C&O passenger station was one of nine Colonial Revival stations the railroad built early in the twentieth century. Second in size only to the contemporary Huntington station, to which it relates architecturally, it is a twostory, tripartite brick building with a stone belt course and a prominent red tile hipped roof. Station facilities were on the first floor and railroad offices above. Because tracks were located on both sides, canopied train sheds, now removed, virtually surrounded the station.
